As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

47. WHOM I VALUE MOST
I do not care what other's say and think about me. But there is one man's opinion which I very much value, and that is the opinion of.....(myself). Other's I need not think about. I can get away from them, but I have to be with him all the time. He is with me when I rise up and when I lie down, when I eat and talk; when I go out and come in. It makes a great difference whether he thinks well of me or not?

46. TO HAVE SUCCEEDED
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, or a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived - is TO HAVE SUCCEEDED!

45. TIME
You know time is a funny thing. One day you're a child, carefree and playful. Then you turn around and suddenly you're a teenager. You turn around again and you're a young adult. You work hard making a place for yourself in the world. Then at the next turn you're middle-aged with your youth behind you. Nr=ext turn and you are old and perhaps dependent. You can't halt the inevitable march of time. So just relax, enjoy the interval between each turn, and don't worry about having another birthday, but enjoy the days all the same.

44. SUCCESS
Success slips away from you like sand through the fingers, like water through a leaking pail, unless success is held tight by hard work, day by day, night by night, year in and year out. Everyone who is not looking forward to going to seed looks forward to working harder and harder and, more fruitfully as long as he survives.

43. SUBMISSION TO WRONG AND INJUSTICE
I am firm in my conviction that there is no calamity which a great nation can invite, which equals that which follows a supine submission to wrong and injustice, and the consequent loss of national self-respect and beneath which are shielded and defended peoples safety and greatness????????

42. SLAVE
Show me a man/woman who is not a slave. One is a slave to lust, another to greed, another to ambition; all to some habit or the other and all are slave to fear of some kind or another. You have to only to look and you will find an aged reputed official who is slave to an old hag, a millionaire who is slave to a serving-maid, youth of the noblest birth in serfdom to prayers or meditation! No servitude is more disgraceful than that which is self-imposed.

41. SENTIMENTS & OPINIONS
Sentiments are what unite people, opinions are what separate them. Sentiments are a simple bond that gathers us together; opinions represent the principle of variety that scatters. The friendships of youth are founded on the former; the cliques of old age are to be blamed on the latter. If we could only realize this early and arrive at a liberal view as regards others in cultivating our own attitude of mind, we would be more conciliatory and try to collect by the bond of sentiment what opinion has dispersed.

40. RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS
Take equal parts of Faith and Courage, mix well with a sense of Humour, sprinkle with a few Tears and add a helping of Kindness for others. Bake in a Good-natured oven and dust with Laughter. Scrape away any Self-indulgence that may be apparent and serve with generous Helpings!!!!

39. PITY
There are two kinds of pity. i) The weak and sentimental kind, which is really no more than the hearts' impatience to be rid, as quickly as possible, of the painful emotion aroused by the sight of another's unhappiness. That which is not compassion but only an instinctive desire to fortify one's own soul against the suffering of another. ii) The other, the only kind that counts, the unsentimental but creative kind, which knows what it is about and is determined to hold out, in patience and forbearance, to the very limit of its strength and even beyond.

38. PERSISTENCE
Nothing in this world, according to me, can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful person with talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb! Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts? Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and will solve all problems of the human beings, whatever be the circumstances.
